Hey guyz ,today we are going to explorer the new way to search the web which is very helpful in hacking generally hackers use Google or bing to search the web to find vulnerable website and hack them using any vulnerability like sqli xss etc. so here Google , bing etc search engine are used to find vulnerable websites but if we want to search for the particular system like routers, servers etc. we must need to have some engine which allow us to search the for them . so here we have SHODAN search engine it is very powerful and amazing search engine unlike Google or bing it search for the particular system on the internet like router or servers .
SHODAN search engine will help to figure out the particular running services on the server like FTP servers or particular version of the web server like Apache or IIS etc. so how does SHODAN do that it grab the banner or meta data of the data on the server or for fingerprint for particular service running on that server and this information is provided back to the client like FTP banner or soothing like that which informative to the client to find the vulnerability on the basis of such information using exploit databases.
